Detroit Strip Clubs: Riddle: My fate will be known ‘in a few days’

Riddle, who repeatedly has said he won’t accept a plea bargain in the case, was in City Hall around the noon hour casually dressed in a linen shirt and pants. He would not say what he was doing.
Riddle is under FBI investigation in connection with alleged bribes paid to get approval of a $1.2 billion sewage sludge contract awarded to Synagro Technologies Inc. of Texas. Conyers pleaded guilty a felony alleging she accepted at least $6,000 for her vote, while Jackson pleaded guilty to conspiracy to bribery in the case.
Riddle has said his telephone was tapped by federal agents as part of the investigation.
He’s denied accusations of shaking down a strip club official for a favorable vote and claimed the FBI questioned him about a $50,000 contract from state Democrats. Riddle also has been linked with the investigation of Southfield Councilman William Lattimore, who was charged with bribery.
