Detroit Strip Clubs: Another ex-Detroit cop alleges cover-up in Tamara ‘Strawberry …
September 25, 2009 at 10:48 am | In Detroit strip clubs | No CommentsOdell Godbold, a former Detroit homicide investigator, filed a lawsuit Thursday against the city and three of his former bosses, alleging he was demoted for investigating the murder of stripper Tamara “Strawberry” Greene.
In the lawsuit, Godbold accuses his bosses of protecting “an elected official by covering up information regarding the official’s connection to Greene,” claiming that in 2005 his unit was closed abruptly and he was demoted months after turning over his case file to the major crimes unit inspector.

Rumors have been floating around for years that Greene was executed after dancing at a 2002 party hosted by former-Detroit Mayor Kilpatrick at the Manoogian Mansion, but after investigating the matter, Attorney General Mike Cox called the party an urban legend.
However, Godbold claims Greene and an off-duty Detroit police officer moonlighting as a stripper performed at the party, according to the Detroit News, and says the off-duty officer was assaulted at the party.

Detroit Strip Clubs: New lawsuit filed in Tamara Greene case
September 25, 2009 at 5:01 am | In Detroit strip clubs | No CommentsAnother former homicide detective, retired Lt. Alvin Bowman, alleged in an earlier lawsuit that he was transferred out of homicide for attempting to investigate Greene’s killing. Bowman said in a sworn affidavit filed in the Greene case that he believed Greene was killed by a Detroit police officer. Aside from the caliber of handgun used, Bowman has not revealed what evidence he has to back up that claim.
Kilpatrick and other top city and police officials have denied the allegations, and police brass insist the Greene killing remains under active investigation.
Godbold, represented by Bingham Farms attorney Charles Gottlieb, alleges he learned that Greene and an off-duty Detroit police officer who moonlighted as a stripper performed at a 2002 party at the Manoogian Mansion. It was the off-duty female officer, not Greene, who was assaulted at the party and received a three-week leave of absence to recover from her injuries, the lawsuit alleges.
That account is consistent with one given by another retired Detroit homicide detective, Mike Carlisle, who told The Detroit News in April that he learned an off-duty Detroit police officer moonlighting as a stripper performed at the alleged party.
Detroit Escorts: WYANDOTTE: Court worker charged with soliciting sex commits suicide

WYANDOTTE – A 27th District Court probation officer who was charged with soliciting sex from an 18-year-old woman has taken his own life.
Police Chief Daniel Grant confirmed he received a telephone call from the Oscoda County Sheriff’s Department at about 4 p.m. Thursday stating that the body of Robert Joseph Samson was found alongside a road in the northeast Michigan county. He was dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
On Tuesday, the longtime probation officer stood accused of propositioning a teenage probationer to exchange sexual favors for a reduction in fees associated with probation costs. When he was allegedly ready to have sex with her Monday night after a drug class in Taylor, state police troopers moved in to arrest him.
Samson was free on a $10,000 personal recognizance bond. At the time he committed suicide, investigators were seeking other current or former probationers who might have had a similar experience with him.
