Sarah Nissan’s design described Windsor as “Where the seagulls take you.” And Katherine Phillips’ design proudly called Windsor “The Feat of Canada” (Not a typo).
There were even some students who didn’t seem to understand the assignment — They chose to make designs that expressed their pessimism and disdain for Windsor.
Fabio Carriero went with a construction theme, each orange sign “listing a flaw about this horrible city.” One sign read: “Get out while you can.”
Justin Forsyth’s complaint-filled shirt described an endless cycle of layoffs, labour issues and trips to the strip club. And Kaleb Barker’s shirt consisted of a blank yellowish-grey square, accompanied by the title: “Welcome to Smog City.”
