I hadn’t either but their large display next to “electric avenue” at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show was impossible to miss. Their massive collection of electric golf carts on steroids drew quite a bit of attention – or perhaps it was the handful of sexy ladies wearing outfits that didn’t fit the scenario at all? It looked like the Chinese based company called an escort service and asked for catwoman, a school girl, a naughty cop and a naughty… postal carrier? I don’t get what they were going for but those four hotties got me (and many other media members) to look around at the collection of whacky electric powered subcompacts. Later in the day on Tuesday, they even unveiled a little electric sports car that wasn’t that bad of a looker.

Apparently the good guys (undercover cops) impersonating bad guys (prostitutes) were harassed by bad guys impersonating cops. Benny posted: “I sent my Morality team to an area on the East Side to investigate prostitution complaints. As my officers work the scene, some guy — impersonating an officer — pulls up, flashes a badge and begins harassing my female detective! When we arrested him, he had a loaded Glock, DPD badge and DPD logo’d clothing. Who knows what could have happened next with this guy had we not arrested him.” Thankfully, that fake Detroit cop is off the street, and let’s hope the “Morality Team” doesn’t find us.

Detroit — A federal judge today denied a request to extend the length of Attorney General Mike Cox’s deposition in a federal lawsuit over a slain exotic dancer.
Witnesses in civil lawsuits can only be deposed for seven hours without a court order to extend the deposition.
On Dec. 11, Cox was deposed all day in the lawsuit brought by the family of dancer Tamara “Strawberry” Greene against the city of Detroit, former Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, and other top city and police officials. But because of numerous interruptions, only a little over three hours of the seven-hour deposition time was used.

Greene, who was linked to a rumored stripper party at the mayor’s Manoogian Mansion in the fall of 2002, was killed in a drive-by shooting in Detroit on April 30, 2003.
