Detroit Escorts: Don’t Like Church?
March 23, 2010 at 9:12 pm | In Detroit escorts | No CommentsA local pastor is taking a different approach tonight to get more people in church. Hunter Plaza in Westland is just one of the places where you find a sign that asks “don’t like church?” Members of “Ekklesia Chruch” have posted hundreds of them around town. They want people to create videos that explains why they hate church. The winner gets $500. The church’s pastor tells us the effort is to get more people to attend services.

Detroit Escorts: SHARP v. STATE
March 23, 2010 at 9:12 pm | In Detroit escorts | No Comments1. Shortly after midnight on August 19, 1997, City of Atlanta Police Officer Fenner and his partner saw a Pontiac Bonneville enter Roseland Cemetery. Because Officer Fenner knew the cemetery was frequently used for prostitution and for dropping off stolen cars, he followed the car into the cemetery, where he noticed that the Pontiac had turned around and was facing his police car. Officer Fenner shined his spotlight on the Pontiac, and the driver “froze for a few minutes.” Officer Fenner testified that he could see the driver’s face and that he got on his speaker system and told the driver to get out of the car. Instead, the driver fled in the Pontiac, and the officers engaged in a high speed chase.

Sharp has failed to show both that it was apparent that a condom found 150 feet from the crime scene, in a location frequented by prostitutes, would contain evidence of exculpatory value and that the State acted in bad fait …

Detroit Escorts: Hack: Control Your Car With an iPod Touch and Make James Bond Jealous
March 23, 2010 at 9:12 pm | In Detroit escorts | No CommentsHooked up to the router is a RedEye base station, which is typically used for turning your iPhone or iPod into universal remote for your home theater system. In the GTO, the RedEye is connected to the car’s various electronic systems, as well as numerous servos and other controllers. On the iPod Touch, RedEye’s macro functionality comes into play, with an “all down” button that rolls down all the windows and opens the top.
The best part about this awesome car mod? According to Jalopnik, “there isn’t a unique circuit board anywhere in the car.”
If you wanted to pimp your ride like Phipps did and weren’t amped about mucking about with circuit board design software, you’d just need to be adept at wiring your vehicle and writing software. Phipps, Jalopnik reports, is about to get fancy with his iPodiac GTOuch: next on his list is “a USB-tunable electronic fuel injection system” for the V8 engine, as well as a head-up display on the windshield.

By The Associated Press
DETROIT (AP) — The wife and father of former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick have been ordered to give depositions in a civil lawsuit tied to the fatal shooting of a stripper.
U.S. District Judge Gerald Rosen announced his decision after a two-hour court hearing that was closed to the public Tuesday.
The family of Tamara Greene claims Kwame Kilpatrick and others stifled a probe of her death, which remains unsolved seven years later.
Greene family lawyer Norman Yatooma wants to interview Brooke Jordan, who once worked for Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox. But Rosen says she will not give a deposition.
Yatooma says Jordan might have information on the state investigation of a possible wild party at the Detroit mayoral mansion in 2002. Cox has called the party an “urban legend.”

Judge Gerald Rosen heard arguments Tuesday for and against motions to stop other depositions in the case, too.
Attorney Norman Yatooma is representing Greene’s family in a $150 million wrongful death lawsuit against the city of Detroit. Yatooma alleges that Kwame Kilpatrick and other city officials stifled an investigation into Greene’s death.
Greene, a dancer known as Strawberry, was rumored to have been at a never-proven party thrown at a Manoogian mansion by the former mayor in 2002. It was also rumored that Greene was assaulted by Carlita Kilpatrick when she walked into the party and saw Greene with her husband.

Detroit Strip Clubs: Google mapping to cover all of Canada
March 23, 2010 at 6:37 pm | In Detroit strip clubs | No CommentsThe company wonât be reshooting any of the cities already listed, with the exception of Windsor, Ontario, to help improve the current less-than-immaculate view of the city, which had garbage piling up because of a garbage strike when cameras hit the streets of that city last year. Google didnât announce which cities would be added, but said the list of cities it will be visiting, will be listed starting next week at google.ca/streetview. The site will be updated regularly.
Google will return to Windsor and shoot new photographs of city streets that were filled with garbage and lined with knee-high scrub when Google first came to the city during a protracted city strike last summer. Google said it is expanding the cities in Canada featured in its popular Street View program and that it will return to Windsor after hearing complaints from frustrated city officials. The footage initially shot by Google included images of a murder scene outside a Wyandotte Street strip club. Google removed the offending images after alarm bells were triggered by Ward 2 Coun. Ron Jones.

Detroit Strip Clubs: Google’s Street View to Reshoot Windsor
March 23, 2010 at 12:48 pm | In Detroit strip clubs | No CommentsAfter an unpleasant view of Windsor was taken last year, when garbage was mounding up because of a municipal strike when cameras knocked the streets of the city, Google has announced that it will reshoot Windsor, Ont.
In the original shot for Google’s Street View, which is a popular three-dimensional mapping application, it consisted of pictures of a murder scene outside a Windsor strip club. Google has already eliminated the aberrant images.
Soon, Google will be approaching a town near you.
Yesterday, the company declared that over 150 cities are already a part of Google’s street view, comprising Montreal, but that will be enlarged in the upcoming months.
Google’s street view permits consumers of the company’s Maps or Earth applications to get photographs of the location they are searching, as seen from a mobile camera mounted to a car.
