Detroit Strip Clubs: Former Detroit dispatcher says Manoogian Mansion party incident occurred
April 13, 2010 at 1:25 pm | In Detroit strip clubs | No CommentsA former dispatcher for the Detroit 911 system says the rumored party at Manoogian Mansion featuring strippers did happen. And she said in an affidavit filed in federal court yesterday that she dispatched officers to the mayoral mansion.
The filing comes in the civil suit against the city by the family of exotic dancer Tamara “Strawberry” Greene, the Associated Press reports. Greene allegedly danced at the party — which was later investigated and dismissed as an “urban legend” by Attorney General Mike Cox. She was shot several times while in a parked car in 2003 and subsequently died from the shooting. The AP quotes the former 911 dispatcher, Sandy Cardenas, from the affidavit:
“One night in the fall of 2002, I received several calls to dispatch police units to a disturbance call, located at the Manoogian Mansion,” she said. Cardenas said the location made it a “high priority run” that drew supervisors and officers from at least four precincts. “Arriving officers could not gain entry … due to the fact that the doors were locked, and no one would open the doors to let the officers inside,” she said.
Detroit Adult Entertainment: Polish president shaped by WWII

They were on their way to Katyn, a village where thousands of army officers and members of the Polish intelligentsia were executed in 1940 by Red Army troops, as the Soviets joined forces with Nazi Germany.
Kaczynski’s populist, right-wing beliefs commended him to many Poles, particularly the large Catholic population. It was an enthusiasm not universally shared on the world stage. Kaczynski and his twin brother Jaroslaw – who served for a time as his prime minister – urged former US president George W. Bush to install anti-missile missiles in Poland and pursued what some saw as a vendetta against former communists.
They campaigned vociferously against homosexuality, prostitution and abortion, and capitalised on the Polish mistrust of neighbours Russia and Germany, who in turn referred to the Kaczynski twins as ”the Polish potatoes”. According to one analyst, ”(the Kaczynskis) see the Germans as untrustworthy pigs and the Russians as worse”.

Civil suit charges former Detroit Mayor Kilpatrick
DETROIT – A former dispatcher claims that a reported disturbance at the home of then-Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick escalated after his wife was brought to the house to let officers in.
Attorney Norman Yatooma has filed Sandy Cardenas’ affidavit in U.S. District Court in a civil suit charging Kilpatrick and others with blocking an investigation into stripper Tamara Greene’s slaying.
Greene is purported to have danced at a never-proven party at the mayoral mansion several months before her shooting death.
Cardenas says she received several calls to dispatch officers to the mansion in October 2002, but no one would open the doors. She says officers later told her the “disturbance heated up” after Carlita Kilpatrick was brought to the mansion.
Detroit Strip Clubs: Dispatcher: Cops sent to Manoogian Mansion fracas
April 13, 2010 at 7:36 am | In Detroit strip clubs | No CommentsDetroit — A former police dispatcher says she sent officers to a Manoogian Mansion disturbance in the fall of 2002, but the 911 tapes were later removed.
The allegations were revealed in a deposition filed over the weekend in a lawsuit against former Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick and the city by the family of slain exotic dancer Tamara “Strawberry” Greene. The details from the deposition are the latest development in the mystery of a long rumored but never proven Manoogian stripper party.
An investigation by Attorney General Mike Cox in 2003 determined the party was an urban legend. But the dispatcher, Sandy Cardenas, is the latest in a series of witnesses, including EMS workers, to come forward and testify about police dispatches, a disturbance outside a hospital or meeting an injured stripper around that time.
