A BOOZY airport punter who screamed “I hate Iceland” on live TV claimed last night his new cult-hero status might help him find a WOMAN.
An internet clip of the rant by Anton McEneny, 23, has been viewed more than 150,000 times and spawned two music remixes.
The Glasgow factory worker hit the bar after his flight to the Czech Republic was axed due to the volcanic ash from Iceland. He then yelled the abuse during a Sky TV report from Edinburgh Airport.
After being told he’s now famous, Anton, left, said: “Hopefully I’ll get recognised and get a bird.
“But I STILL hate Iceland. If it wasn’t for them I’d be sitting in a strip club in Prague now.”
He added: “My sister says I’m an embarrassment.”
