Detroit Strip Clubs: Court will hear argument on Freep motion to unseal proceedings in Greene civil …

Tamara Greene was slain in a drive-by shooting on the morning of April 30, 2003. The civil lawsuit, filed by attorney Norman Yatooma, claims that the DPD investigation of Greene’s death was quashed by highly placed city officials. Named as defendants are Kwame Kilpatrick, his chief of staff and paramour Christine Beatty, former DPD Chief Ella Bully-Cummings, and several members of the DPD’s top brass.
As a motive for defendant’s actions, Yatooma has developed evidence of a long-rumored party at the Manoogian Mansion in the autumn of 2002 at which Greene was present as a stripper and was allegedly assaulted by Carlita Kilpatrick. Recently, Yatooma filed an affidavit of former DPD dispatcher Sandy Cardenas, who claims to have dispatched officers to the mansion one night in October, 2002, after receiving several calls of a disturbance there.

Detroit Adult Entertainment: Mom wants strip club that hired girl, 14, shut

April 25, 2010 at 12:25 pm | In Detroit adult entertainment | No Comments

The woman said she called police, who arrived immediately. She added that her daughter, whom she described as troubled, cooperated with investigators, but not her.
“She hasn’t said much to me at all about it,” the woman said. “She has some issues.” When asked if she felt the club was taking advantage of her daughter because of her disability, the woman nodded.
But Tim Murphy, an attorney for All Star, said he thinks Hutson’s arrest is “just nuts,” saying the girl “looks like what her ID looks like, 18 to 20.”
“It’s the biggest … farce I’ve ever heard,” Murphy said. “The moment (the club) found out, they escorted the young lady out and told her not to come back. (Detroit Police Department) is at the beck and call of the Baptist ministers and this is about trying to put adult entertainment out of business.”

Detroit Strip Clubs: Andrew Hutson Arrested: All Star Club Hired 14 Year Old Stripper (Video)

April 24, 2010 at 10:00 pm | In Detroit strip clubs | No Comments

Andrew Hutson, 31, of Detroit, is facing charges of child sexually abusive activity, a 20-year felony. The manager of Detroit’s All Star Strip Club on 8 Mile Road was arrested last Wednesday, April 21, 2010.

Billy Hutson, the club manager’s brother, said the charges are unwarranted stating: “He didn’t hire her, this is a legit establishment. We play by the rules.” Billy Hutson works at the All Star Strip Club as a porter. The police, however, disagree. Chief Warren Evans said: “It is sickening by itself that this defendant allegedly knowingly allowed a child to dance in his establishment, but to profit from it is a whole other level of exploitation.”

My 2 cents is all those that patronize strip clubs are moral degenerates, losers. The women / girls that titillate and taunt the perverts aren’t much better. We know sex sells, but why does society buy it? We truly have become a morally bankrupt nation.

Ernst Lamothe Jr. – Staff writerNews – April 24, 2010 – 12:22pm
More than 150 people today took part in an event to remember their family members and friends who were taken from their lives too early by violent crimes.
The 12th annual national Crime Victims Week march began in Corn Hill as local residents walked two miles to the Victims Right Memorial in Highland Park with police escort service. Family members carried blue balloons throughout the march and wore customized T-shirts with the faces of their relatives. When they arrived to Highland Park, several people spoke about the tragedies in their lives and called for an end to senseless violence.
“We can’t just stand around and do nothing because crime is not going to stop on its own,” said Ahmad Rivazfar, whose two daughters were victims of rape. “Some days the pain doesn’t feel like it will go away but I have a hope that someday we can put an end to the cycle of violence.”
