Detroit Strip Clubs: ‘Cup Keeper’ Mike Bolt from the Hockey Hall of fame on October 9, 2008 at Joe …
July 17, 2010 at 1:01 pm | In Detroit strip clubs | No CommentsExcept that Bolt is far too approachable and has too much of a sense of humour to be considered part of such a stern occupation. The 41-year-old Torontonian, who is beloved by NHL players and management, seems to strike just the right friendly-but-firm disposition as he guards one of sport’s most prestigious trophies against desecration, disrespect and overstepped boundaries.
You can touch the Cup. You can even kiss it. But you can’t hoist it over your head unless you have actually won it.
And there are places the Cup can’t go any more, like to strip joints or casinos.
In these days of instant Internet photography, a picture could be flashed around the world with the Cup next to a nude stripper. That would never do. Detroit Adult Entertainment: 2nd Psych Exam Ordered For Detroit Man
July 17, 2010 at 11:01 am | In Detroit adult entertainment | No Comments7/17/10 – A Detroit man will undergo a second psychological exam to see if he is competent to stand trial on charges of soliciting sex from someone in Howell he thought was a teenager. 54-year-old George William Allen is charged with child abusive commercial activity and using a computer to commit that crime. He was one of nine men arrested last August in an undercover sting conducted by the Michigan Attorney General’s office. The sting targeted individuals who sent sexually explicit messages or photographs to a person they thought was a minor. The defendants were all arrested after showing up at a house in Howell being used by authorities as a decoy. Allen had previously undergone a mental exam that found him competent to stand trial, but on Friday Judge Michael Hatty granted a defense motion for another exam to be conducted. Allen is the last of the nine defendants to have his case adjudicated. All of the others entered pleas and have since been sentenced. (JK)
