DETROIT (WJBK) – One person is dead and another wounded following a drive-by shooting outside a strip club on the city’s west side.
According to police, the shooting happened outside the Topless Venus club at Michigan and Wyoming. The wounded man is reported to be in serious condition.
No arrests have been made as of Friday morning. No further details have been released.

1 dead, 1 injured in Detroit strip club shooting

Detroit— One person was killed and another wounded in a double shooting outside a strip club on the city’s west side early Friday morning.
According to police, the incident occurred at about 2 a.m. outside Club Venus in the 9500 block of Michigan Avenue.
“A car pulled by the club and shots were fired, hitting two males,” Sgt. Eren Stephens said. “One man was killed and the other was wounded. He was taken to a local hospital and is in serious condition.”
Officers questioned residents of a nearby motel about the incident and are also checking surveillance video from the club.
Police have not released the names of either victim. No arrests have been made.

Ypsilanti police officers and Washtenaw County sheriff’s deputies teamed up for the operation that ran from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., an Ypsilanti police news release said.
The bust is part of a program called Enforcement Against Street Walking in Ypsilanti (E.A.S.Y.). The effort brings law enforcement, human services, the judicial system and elected officials together to address the root causes of prostitution and keep people off the streets. DETROIT — A man was shot to death on Detroit’s west side outside Club Venus on the 9500-block of Michigan Ave.
Local 4 has learned the shooting happened just before 2 a.m.
Witnesses on scene said the man was driven away from the scene by some friends who were able to flag down an EMS unit a short distance away.
A second person was also shot and taken to an area hospital.
So far there is no word on the identities of either victim.
Police officers went from room-to-room at the hotel next door questioning anyone who might know more about what happened. They’re also checking for surveillance footage from the club.

The officer replied that he was going to work early. She responded that she was, too, and grabbed the officer’s groin.
She then asked him if he was a cop, to which he didn’t respond. She then offered sex for $70. When he said he couldn’t afford that price, she negotiated to $50.
The officer responded that he had to get the money and that he would be back.
The officer then radioed for assistance. The woman was arrested by a uniformed officer.
She told officers that she was a stripper and was just walking back to her room. She said that she was not “that kind of girl” and that she was only going to give the undercover officer a lap dance.
