Detroit Escorts: Man says women robbed him in Madison Heights motel
March 10, 2010 at 2:13 am | In Detroit escorts | No CommentsThe man, 27, told police he met the two women at the MGM Grand and they agreed to follow him in their car to the Econo Lodge motel, 32703 Stephenson Highway, south of 14 Mile.
“He went and got a room at the desk and said the two women went with him to the room,” said Madison Heights police Lt. Robert Anderson. “He asked them to join him in the shower and went into the bathroom to disrobe.”
But once in the bathroom, the man told police one of the women pulled a handgun.
“He said they took less than $200 from his wallet and tied him up,” Anderson said.
The two women reportedly fled in a blue Dodge Stratus.
Police said the man wriggled free after he was tied up and called the desk person who alerted police about 3:45 a.m.
“He claims they weren’t prostitutes because money was never discussed,” Anderson said.

“One of them, she (came) with me and she (said), ‘Open the water.’ I opened the water, and that other one, she said, ‘Can I enjoy, too,’” the victim said. “I (said), ‘Yeah, okay.’”
Now for the record scratch.
“She pulled a gun on me. They took my money. They took my Social Security number. They took my (driver’s) license, and they took my phone,” said the man.
He called 911 from a phone in the room. The suspects initially followed the victim to the motel in their blue Dodge Stratus, and it’s the same vehicle in which they left. They got about $200.

Detroit Escorts: Start cleaning up our billboard ads
March 9, 2010 at 8:13 am | In Detroit escorts | No CommentsOne would think that Windsor has enough problems with extremely high unemployment, numerous strip bars, escort services, murder, street muggings and the list goes on.
Recently, while driving east on Wyandotte Street near the Walker Road intersection, I couldn’t help but notice a large billboard advertising a local radio station. The images on the board were two nude radio personalities with coconuts strategically placed over their private parts.
I have never seen a billboard advertisement so disgusting on a city street anywhere. I’m wondering what kind of message is being conveyed to our children, tourists, future business leaders looking to perhaps invest when they drive by and see trash like this? If we, in Windsor, are serious about regaining long-term prosperity again, let’s start by, at least, cleaning up our billboard advertisements.

March 6, 2010 at 8:13 am | In Detroit escorts | No CommentsCharlie Rangel should have been a little easier. The ethical lapses with which he was charged were pretty obvious, but Rangel was good at moving legislation and House Speaker had no good successor for him at hand (witness the one-day reign of moonbat Rep. Pete Stark as chairman). Most importantly, though, the Congressional Black Caucus is mostly interested in the advancement and preservation of its own members. If Pelosi had shelved Rangel earlier she would have risked being called racist, which among Democrats is even worse than being accused of being anti-gay.
Writer Jeff Zeleny looks back at a run of Democratic scandals that started with Eliot Spitzer’s penchant for expensive prostitutes two years ago and now includes the more pitiful ethical lapses charged against his successor (Free baseball tickets? C’mon!) Also in the passing parade: John Edwards and Blago.
Detroit Escorts: Controversies big and small dog Oscars contenders
March 5, 2010 at 5:14 am | In Detroit escorts | No CommentsMeanwhile “The Hurt Locker,” a tense drama about the activities of a bomb disposal unit in Iraq, has faced a barrage of late criticism from veterans who have complained it inaccurately portrays their profession.
“The depiction of our community in this film is disrespectful,” said Paul Rieckhoff, executive director of the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America. “We are not cowboys. We are not reckless. We are professionals.”
Science-fiction nominee “District 9″ meanwhile infuriated the Nigerian government for its portrayal of murderous Nigerian criminal gangs operating in the Soweto-like townships where the film is set.
“Why do they want to denigrate Nigerians as criminals, cannibals and prostitutes who sleep with extra-terrestrial animals,” said Nigeria’s Minister of Information Dora Akunyili. The film was banned in Nigeria, which demanded an apology from studio Sony.

When Demello’s phone repeatedly rang while she was being questioned, officers established a link to another suspect on the scene. Smith had been observed talking on a phone in her car outside. Interviews revealed she also was in on the prostitution ring and had brought an 18-year-old Roseville girl. Smith was then arrested.
…
The 18-year-old was released, while the 19-year-old will turn herself in once a warrant is obtained. According to police, neither teen had much experience as a prostitute.
“We hope that after this incident they may rethink their choices and find a legitimate line of work,” Anderson said in a prepared statement. “The girls identified as prostitutes in this case were not considered juveniles by law, but are awfully young to be engaging in such a dangerous activity as prostitution.”
