Detroit Adult Entertainment: Deputies arrest woman suspected of prostitution in Ypsilanti Township

Washtenaw County sheriff’s deputies arrested a 45-year-old Ypsilanti woman on suspicion of prostitution Thursday night.
Deputies were conducting a prostitution sting operation in the area of East Michigan Avenue and Wiard Road in Ypsilanti Township about 7:45 p.m. Thursday, when they encountered a woman, whom they said they recognized as a known offender.
The police report will be forwarded to the Washtenaw County prosecutor for review, deputies said in a media summary.
In the past year, police have conducted several sting operations in which they pose either as potential clients or as prostitutes to catch suspects.
The sheriff’s department also launched a webpage featuring mugshots of men arrested on suspicion of soliciting prostitutes.
