Detroit Escorts: Butorac charged in Redford murder

Butorac is currently in custody facing two charges of second- degree murder in connection with the killings of two prostitutes from Langley and Abbotsford. He was arrested just over two years ago, on Jan. 7, 2008, after police set up 24-hour surveillance on him.
At that time, he was charged in connection to the murder of 50-year-old Sheryl Lynn Koroll of Langley and 46-year-old Gwendolyn Jo Lawton of Abbotsford. Koroll’s body was found on the grounds of a business on Mufford Crescent.
When Butorac was arrested, he was living with his father in their Aldergrove townhouse, just blocks from where Redford, 47, was found in the 27300 block of Fraser Highway.

Butorac’s trial in connection with the deaths of the two prostitutes is expected to begin in May. A separate trial is planned in connection with the Redford case.
