August 28, 2009 at 1:37 am | In Detroit escorts | No CommentsFour Detroit-area people were ordered Wednesday to stand trial on open murder charges in connection to the robbery and death of a retired Brighton podiatrist.
Detroit homicide detectives testified about the statements the accused murderers made to police. Following that testimony, 36th District Judge Kenneth King ruled there was enough evidence to try Darrell Harris, 24, Teanna Keens, 32, Stephanie Cross, 19, and Kamico Jackson, 24, for Dr. Gary Ceresnies Aug. 9 death.
The defendants are also charged with armed robbery.
Ceresnie reportedly traveled from his Farmington Hills home to McGraw Road, located in a southwest Detroit neighborhood known for prostitution. He reportedly offered $40 each to Keens and Cross for sex, but instead the women lured Ceresnie to their former home on St. John where Harris and Jackson were hiding.
