Homegrown ‘Midnight Hour’ puts pre-wedding fun in fright
For some scary, bump-in-the-night fun, tune into the locally produced series “Lee Martin’s The Midnight Hour,” now in its second season. In case you haven’t seen it, the show airs on Metro Detroit Comcast and Wow stations.
The latest installment is an episode titled “June Bride” and follows a young, soon-to-be married man (Phillip Hughes) who murders the prostitute (Angela Roberts) he’s been seeing, in order to conceal their relationship. But vengeance can’t be killed and the man soon learns that this working girl is hauntingly irresistible.
The program will air at midnight Friday and 10:30 p.m. Saturday. Each 30-minute episode of “Lee Martin’s The Midnight Hour” debuts during the first week of the month and is then repeated twice weekly until the following month.
