And police are also looking into another incident that happened about three weeks ago.
Police say a Kettering student was in bed sleeping when a guy with a gun came in with a shirt covering his face and robbed him.
That incident happened on Joliet near Dupont. Three of the student’s roommates were two floors up, sleeping their rooms.
One of those roommates says the suspect got in by prying off the screen on an open window and they didn’t know anything was even happening until it was almost all over.
Kettering officials say they e-mailed students, alerting them about the incidents this week. They also compiled a list of safety tips for students.
