Detroit Strip Clubs: Jackson said he’d laugh ‘all the way to the bank’ in Synagro deal

Prosecutors showed a video shot inside the car of former Synagro Vice President James R. Rosendall in early 2008, who by then was cooperating with the FBI. The video shows Rayford Jackson detailing payments he had made to Conyers and others to assure the contract would pass.
Jackson says on the tape he paid all members of the City Council, though it is not clear whether he is referring to bribes or campaign donations, which are legal. Also, FBI Special Agent Michael Lubisco, who headed the investigation, testified Jackson sometimes lied to Rosendall.
In the video, Jackson tells Rosendall that Bernard N. Kilpatrick, the father of former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, had been making $45,000 a month as a consultant since his son became mayor.
The trial in front of a jury and Cohn has already heard testimony from officials of a technology company and a strip club who say Riddle shook them down.
