Lincoln Park strip club gets liquor license
Judge ends fight between Larry Flynt Hustler Club, council

Lincoln Park — The battle between Lincoln Park council members and a controversial strip club is likely finished following a federal judge’s ruling Tuesday and City Council action following that opinion.
Tuesday night, city officials approved a liquor license transfer for the Larry Flynt Hustler Club after U.S. District Judge Nancy Edmund’s ruling, essentially ending the saga, said City Attorney Edward Zelenak.
“The judge told the council to go approve it. The whole case should be over now,” Zelenak said.
Attorneys for the $4.2 million club at John A. Papalas Drive charged four members of the City Council with holding up the club’s opening. The four were ordered to appear Tuesday to explain why they didn’t transfer the liquor license to the club.
