Detroit Strip Clubs: Riddle jury told Conyers got cash for travel and shopping

On Aug. 8, 2007, Conyers told Riddle to draw up a contract between his consulting firm, Meridian Management Systems, and the Phoenix Group.
“I’ll do it just like I did the other one,” Riddle told her.
But on Dec. 24, 2007, Conyers called Riddle to say she couldn’t find the contract.
“He signed it and I signed it,” Riddle said.
“We’ve got to find it,” Conyers said.
“Well, you’re a hell of a damn organizer,” Riddle said.
Washington’s testimony came in the sixth day of evidence in the trial. The government is expected to close its case against Riddle on Thursday.
Jurors earlier heard evidence about alleged shakedowns involving a technology company, a strip club and the $1.2 billion Synagro sludge contract.
